Updating Google Search Results

You can request Google to crawl new or updated content on your website using the Fetch as Google tool in Google Search Console. The general steps are as follows:

1. Sign up for a free Google Search Console account if you don't already have one.
2. From the dashboard of Google Search Console, click Add a Property to add your website to the account.
3. Verify ownership of your website by placing a meta tag provided by Google into the head contents of your home page.
4. Once your website has been linked to your Google account, you can use the Fetch as Google tool to request your website pages to be re-crawled. Read directions for the Fetch as Google tool.
