BannerBeat: Approve or Delete Comments
When the Require Admin Approval of Comments option is checked for a category in BannerBeat, any comments submitted by a visitor are kept in the Pending Comments section. The comments need to be approved to be published onto the website or deleted to be removed from the system.
To Approve a Pending Comment:
While in the BannerBeat grip, click Pending Comments in the top navigation, or click the Pending Comments icon on the BannerBeat dashboard's All Options tab. Locate the desired comment and click on View. On the next page, click on Approve Comment to publish the comment to the website.
To Delete a Pending Comment:
While in the BannerBeat grip, click Pending Comments in the top navigation, or click the Pending Comments icon on the BannerBeat dashboard's All Options tab. Locate the desired comment and click on View. On the next page, click on Reject Comment to delete the comment from the system.
To Edit or Delete a Comment Already Published:
While in the BannerBeat grip, click Entries > Manage in the top navigation, or click the Manage Entries icon on the BannerBeat dashboard's All Options tab. Locate the desired entry and click on View. At the bottom of the entry, click on Manage Comments. Click on View for the desired comment. Click on Edit Comment to edit the comment or Delete Comment to delete it from the system.
ALTERNATIVE: On the Manage Comments page, you can delete multiple comments at once by checking the desired comments and clicking on Delete.
